Raising money for LookGoodFeelBetter

An Irish charity using the power of make-up to change lives

Look Good Feel Better put smiles back on the faces of women going through cancer treatment with skincare and makeup confidence boosting tutorials.

Covid-19 may have temporarily forced LGFB to suspend their unique confidence-boosting workshops but, sadly, cancer doesn’t stop. One person in Ireland gets diagnosed with cancer every three minutes.

Look Good Feel Better workshops bring a smile to the faces of women undergoing cancer treatment and we don't want this to stop. Therefor for Breast Cancer Awareness month we are raising funds for LGFB by donating a 1 for every product sold in October to them.

Finding out you have cancer can be daunting and life-changing. The added stress of the appearance related side effects of treatment can be demoralising and very hard to cope with. This can have a serious effect on self-esteem and confidence, at a time when a positive attitude is very important. Cancer can rob a woman of her energy and strength, but with the support of Look Good Feel Better it need not take away her self-confidence.

They use the power of make-up to help rebuild self-confidence and self-esteem for women who have gone through cancer treatment. These amazing women attend workshops all over Ireland, run by a dedicated team of volunteer make-up artists.

Their research shows having participated in one of our workshops 93% of women say that they feel 93% more confident about their appearance (2018 Global Look Good Feel Better Patient Survey conducted with 10,000 workshop participants over 6 countries worldwide).

  • Last year, Look Good Feel Better held 114 beauty workshops in 15 hospitals

  • In 2018, Look Good Feel Better worked with 1032 women going through cancer treatment

  • 10,000 women have been supported by Look Good Feel Better in Ireland

  • 170 hardworking volunteers support Look Good Feel Better Ireland delivery skincare and make-up workshops
